CARSON, Calif. -- Mike Magee could be on his way back to the LA Galaxy.
According to a report by Guillermo Rivera of Fire Confidential, the Galaxy are close to a deal to sign the 2013 MLS MVP who has spent the last two-and-a-half years with the Chicago Fire. Rivera reports that Magee is prepared to turn down interest from Sporting Kansas City, Vancouver Whitecaps FC and the Fire in favor of a return to Southern California.
A member of the Galaxy from 2009 to 2014, Magee made 105 regular season appearances for Los Angeles, tallying 17 goals and 11 assists. Magee's largest impact for the club came in the postseason where he tallied eight goals and one assist in 17 postseason appearances.
