Jelle Van Damme appears to be heading to the LA Galaxy.
Belgian outlet HLN reported on Sunday that Standard de Liège and the LA Galaxy had reached an agreement regarding the 32-year-old left-sided defender. Van Damme, a center back as well as left back, has made more than 200 appearances for Les Rouches.
Following the publishing of the Belgian report, Van Damme posted a farewell message to Standard Liège fans on his personal Instagram, bidding the fans well wishes after more than four years with the club. In the comments section of his post, the Belgian defender confirmed that he was about to join the Galaxy.
