Defender Dave Romney’s journey to the first team was one of the best stories of 2015.
After going undrafted out of the University of San Francisco, Romney earned a contract at LA Galaxy II after coming into preseason as a trialist. The Irvine native then caught the eye of Bruce Arena at Los Dos and eventually signed a contract with the first team during the summer.
Heading into his second year as a pro, Romney spoke with USF about his whirlwind past year.
