CARSON, Calif. (Friday, Jan. 22, 2016) – On Saturday, Jan. 23, from noon to 8 p.m., the adidas Originals store at 8009 Melrose Ave. in West Hollywood will be donating 15 percent of total sales profit to the LA Galaxy Foundation in support of Vista Del Mar Child & Family Services. The money raised will supply funds, talent and soccer training expertise to the children of Vista Del Mar, offering the local at-risk youth from Vista Del Mar High School the opportunity to participate in an in-depth soccer clinic on Vista’s stunning 18-acre campus in West LA.
For over 100 years, Vista Del Mar has been serving the Los Angeles community by offering high-quality schools, services and treatment programs to local at-risk children and their families. Vista Del Mar’s services are designed to help children, adolescents and their families manage all levels of behavior challenges. Their schools, mental health and wellness treatment programs, adoption services and professional training strive to provide children and families with the tools they need to learn and grow and include in-depth resources for parents and caregivers.
On-site festivities at the adidas Originals store will include a live music broadcast from 2-5 p.m. hosted by DJ Chuck Dizzle and DJ Hed from Homegrown Radio/REAL 92.3 with emerging artists Boogie, Sir, Mickey Taelor and Jack & Papa. Cozmo and the LA Galaxy Star Squad will also be in attendance with vendors Kicks to the Pitch, the WAFL Foodtruck, Pitfire Artisan Pizza and KOGI Barbeque Food Truck. Pitfire Pizza will be hosting the post-charity event from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., also donating 15% of all proceeds to the LA Galaxy Foundation to benefit Vista Del Mar Child & Family Services.
