LA Galaxy II goalkeeper Eric Lopez called up to U.S. U-18 camp in Argentina

LA Galaxy II goalkeeper Eric Lopez has been called into the U.S. U-18 Men’s National Team 10-day international camp in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

During the trip to Argentina, the U.S. U-18s will face academy sides from San Lorenzo and Racing club, while also playing Uruguay in a friendly on March 16.

Lopez has represented the U.S. at various youth levels including at the U-17 FIFA World Cup in Chile.


Lopez, 16, signed with LA Galaxy II in 2015 becoming the youngest-ever player to sign a contract in USL PRO. Lopez joined midfielder Jaime Villarreal as LA Galaxy Academy players to sign a professional contract with Los Dos this year.
