After marking his MLS debut with a goal, the San Fernando Valley native received a certificate of recognition from Los Angeles Assemblyman Mike Gatto.

Staff from Gatto’s office met Steres after training to present him with the certificate.

“Daniel is a proud San Fernando Valley native and his success is a phenomenal example to aspiring athletes in Southern California,” Gatto said.  “I look forward to seeing his continued success both on and off the field.”
