This Sunday, March 20, Sueño MLS Ambassador, Mexican goalkeeping legend Adolfo Ríos, will be a guest on Univision Deportes’ popular weekly sports entertainment program, República Deportiva, to announce details for the landmark 10th edition of Sueño MLS – Presented by Allstate Insurance Company, the premier search for the most talented young soccer player in North America. Ríos will unveil the three 2016 host cities, tryout dates and player registration details.
Sueño MLS – Presented by Allstate Insurance Company has helped discover several standouts, including original Sueño MLS winner and 2015 MLS Cup Champion Jorge Villafaña (formerly Jorge Flores) currently with Club Santos Laguna, C.F. Monterrey forward Gabriel Funes Mori, and his brother, Everton FC defender Ramiro Funes Mori. Many others have gone on to play for MLS academy teams, universities, youth national teams and professionally around the world.
The Allstate Good Hands® top goalkeeper award, El Portero Allstate, will once again be presented to the best goalkeeper in the competition. Ríos will guide and mentor the goalkeeping finalists.
