Bruce Arena

CARSON, Calif. -- The name Bruce Arena is synonymous with success in Major League Soccer, so it's no surprise that a major of players in ESPN FC’s MLS player poll selected him as the league’s most popular coach.

A total of 22 percent of players polled in the anonymous survey said that they would most like to play for the five-time MLS Cup winner. Vancouver Whitecaps FC’s Carl Robinson came in second while ex-Galaxy defender and current Columbus Crew SC coach Gregg Berhalter tied with New York Red Bulls boss Jesse Marsch for third.

The ESPN FC also asked players who were the most underrated and overrated player in MLS. Dax McCarty and Darlington Nagbe tied for most underrated, while New York City FC midfielder Mix Diskerud was voted most overrated.
