CARSON, Calif. (Monday, April 11, 2016) – The LA Galaxy (2-1-2, 8 points) will travel to Texas this week for a road match against the Houston Dynamo (1-2-2, 5 points) this Friday, April 15, at 4 p.m. PT at BBVA Compass Stadium (UniMás). LA Galaxy II will host San Antonio FC in a USL Western Conference matchup at StubHub Center this Wednesday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. PT.
All time, the Galaxy are 7-9-5 against Houston, including 3-6-2 in road games. In their last matchup, the Galaxy fell to the Dynamo, 3-0, at BBVA Compass Stadium in 2015. The match Friday marks the first of three contests this year, with the teams set to face again on Friday, July 15, and on Sunday, Oct. 16.
On Sunday, the Galaxy earned a 1-1 draw against Portland Timbers FC at StubHub Center, as a late own goal from Nat Borchers leveled the match. LA Galaxy forward Giovani dos Santos made his first appearance since the opening match of the 2016 season, playing 64 minutes.
