Former LA Galaxy Academy forward Haji Wright announced his deal with German club Schalke 04 on Friday via Twitter.
Wright spent a number of years with the academy, but has been heavily linked to a move to Germany for nearly two years. The 18-year-old striker from Los Angeles spent last season with the New York Cosmos after leaving the academy.
