Giovani dos Santos’ incredible chip during the LA Galaxy’s victory over Real Salt Lake won the LA Galaxy Goal of the Month competition presented by 76 Gas for April.
Dos Santos’ goal, which drew comparisons to his legendary 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup goal cup finish, received 40.63% percent of the vote in the competition. Goals by Steven Gerrard and Gyasi Zardes against Real Salt Lake finished in second and third respectively.
The 26-year-old Mexican international has scored four goals and two assists in five appearances for the Galaxy this season.
