Gyasi Zardes was named to MLSsoccer.com’s Team of the Week after his two-assist performance in the LA Galaxy’s 4-2 victory over the New England Revolution.
Zardes assisted on both of Robbie Keane’s goals in the Galaxy’s rout of the Revolution while also completing a bulk of his passes in a strong showing. The 24-year-old Hawthorne product now has four goals and four assists this season.
Zardes wasn’t the only player included in the squad as A.J. DeLaGarza, Sebastian Lletget and Giovani dos Santos were included on the team’s bench.
