A pair of LA Galaxy Academy players is joining the U.S. U-17’s for an upcoming tournament in Goa, India.
Galaxy Academy stalwarts Kevin Negrete and Jake Arteaga were named to the U.S. U-17 23-man roster for the AIFF Youth Cup, which runs from May 11 to May 26. The FIFA U-17 World Cup will be held in India next year.
Head coach John Hackworth’s charges will face Tanzania on May 15, India on May 19, South Korea on May 21, and Malaysia on May 23. The tournament’s final and third place matches take place on May 25.
