CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy's Jose Villarreal was named to the USL Team of the Week during the 11th week of the 2016 season.
Jose Villarreal recorded a goal and an assist during Los Dos' 2-2 draw against Sacramento Republic FC. Villarreal found room to put in a cross to the box that found the head of his brother Jaime Villarreal to give LA the equalizer.
LA Galaxy II kept the pressure on and Jose Villarreal capitalized on a Republic FC backline mistake and made a move past the keeper at the top of the box and slotted home the open-net shot.
