CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena is optimistic that Steven Gerrard and Giovani dos Santos will be available for selection for Wednesday’s match against the Colorado Rapids.
Speaking to reporters after the team’s final training session ahead of the Rapids game, Arena confirmed that both players “should be” available on Wednesday. Both players took part in training on Tuesday after missing last weekend’s defeat to Toronto FC with an injury.
Gerrard has been sidelined for several weeks with a hamstring injury, while dos Santos missed out on the TFC defeat with a quad issue.
