CARSON, Calif. – Ashley Cole and Steven Gerrard will be game-time decisions for the LA Galaxy’s clash with the Portland Timbers on Saturday.
Both players have dealt with injuries over the last week, with Gerrard dealing an injury picked up in the 1-0 victory over the Houston Dynamo, while Cole has missed the last three games with a hamstring issue.
When asked about Cole’s status, Arena told reporters that he had not yet decided if the left back will take part in the match in Portland. The Galaxy boss was less clear about Gerrard’s availability, simply stating that “he’s getting better.”
