CARSON, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy will host FC Dallas on August 10 at 7 p.m. at StubHub Center in the U.S. Open Cup semifinal.

U.S. Soccer determined that the Texas side will travel to face in a blind draw conducted at Soccer House in Chicago on Thursday morning. Los Angeles have won their last 17 consecutive matches at home in the U.S. Open Cup.

The New England Revolution will host the Chicago Fire in the Eastern semifinal on August 9.

The Chicago Fire hold the highest priority to host the U.S. Open Cup final on Sept. 21, with the Galaxy coming in second, meaning that the Fire will host if they dispatch the Revolution regardless of their opponent. If the Revolution win and the Galaxy advance, then the Galaxy will host the Open Cup Final. The Revs are the only team that can not host the final.

The Galaxy will be making their first U.S. Open Cup semifinal trip since 2006. Los Angeles have not won the tournament since 2005, the same year that they won both the U.S. Open Cup and the MLS Cup.
