CARSON, Calif. (Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016) – The LA Galaxy will return to StubHub Center for a match against New York Red Bulls this Sunday, Aug. 7 at 6:30 p.m. PT live on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Deportes. LA Galaxy II (9-3-8, 35 points) will return home for the first time since July 2 when they face Portland Timbers 2 on Saturday, August 6 at 7:30 p.m. PT at StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium.

All time, the Galaxy are 16-18-7 against the New York Red Bulls in MLS play, including 9-6-4 in matches played at home. In their most recent contest, the Galaxy earned a 1-1 draw on the road at Red Bull Arena last season behind a goal from Bradford Jamieson IV, his first professional goal with the LA Galaxy. Sunday’s match will mark the only contest between the two teams this season.
On Sunday, the LA Galaxy earned a 1-1 draw with Seattle Sounders FC on the road at CenturyLink Field behind a second-half goal from Sebastian Lletget. With the draw, the Galaxy remained unbeaten in their last seven MLS matches (6-0-1) and their last nine matches in all competitions (8-0-1). The Galaxy finished the month of July with a 4-0-1 record in MLS play and the team’s +15 goal differential this year is the best in MLS and 20 goals allowed are second-fewest in MLS. LA have lost just twice in their previous 19 MLS matches and are unbeaten in their previous seven MLS games.
This season, the Galaxy are 6-0-4 at StubHub Center, scoring 21 goals while allowing just eight. The Galaxy have been one of the most successful MLS teams at home during the last four seasons, scoring 138 total goals at StubHub Center, the most of any team. The Galaxy’s home MLS record throughout the last four seasons is 40-5-15, with 138 goals for and just 44 against. Since 2014, the Galaxy have only lost five of their previous 60 MLS games at StubHub Center.
