Bruce Arena says Robbie Keane's status undetermined yet for Colorado Rapids match | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena told reporters on Friday that he’s hopeful that Robbie Keane will be available for this weekend’s clash with the Colorado Rapids.

Keane was present at training on Friday after practicing indoors following the Galaxy’s 2-2 draw with the New York Red Bulls last weekend. During last Sunday’s draw, the Irish forward suffered a collision with New York goalkeeper Luis Robles in the early stages of the game but remained in until the final whistle.

After training on Friday, Arena told reporters that Keane’s availability has not yet been determined and did not comment on any protocol that would see the Galaxy captain return for the Colorado match.

“That has not been finalized. We’re hopeful [he can play],” Arena said. “I don’t want to go through all of that. Everything’s well defined, and everyone understands what the procedures are. That’s not my area to comment on.”
