LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Monday, Sept. 19, 2016) – The LA Galaxy (11-4-14, 47 points) will host Seattle Sounders FC this Sunday, Sept. 25 at 1 p.m. PT live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes in a double header with the LA Galaxy Special Olympics California Unified Soccer team, which will face the Sounders Unified Soccer team at 3 p.m. PT. All tickets to the LA Galaxy-Seattle Sounders MLS match will have access to the match at 3 p.m. PT. Los Dos will host their final match of the season this Saturday, Sept. 24 against Real Monarch SC at StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium.

All time, the Galaxy are 9-4-7 against Seattle Sounders FC, including 5-1-3 in matches played at StubHub Center. Sunday will mark the third and final time Seattle and LA will face off this regular season, with the Galaxy going 1-0-1 in their previous two games. The Galaxy earned a 1-1 draw in Seattle in their most recent matchup.
With a win Sunday, the LA Galaxy would clinch a 2016 MLS Regular Season playoff spot. LA earned a 2-2 draw on the road against Sporting Kansas City on Sunday behind goals from Alan Gordon and Landon Donovan. With the result, the Galaxy are now in sole possession of second place in the Western Conference, four points off leader FC Dallas, with just four games remaining in the MLS Regular Season.

LA Galaxy II will host Fan Appreciation Night during the team’s final home match of the 2016 USL Regular Season. On Saturday, Sept. 24, Los Dos will celebrate their fans and their support this year during a special night at StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium. Fan Appreciation Night will feature numerous giveaways, including LA Galaxy II branded t-shirts and other exclusive items courtesy of Alcatel, Bare Republic, Herbalife Nutrition and Chick-fil-A. Additionally, LA Galaxy II Head Coach Curt Onalfo will personally address the fans postgame and fans will have an opportunity to win warm-up jerseys off an LA Galaxy II player’s back.
