CARSON, Calif. -- Add another record to Landon Donovan's impressive total.
Donovan past LA Galaxy legend Mauricio Cienfuegos with his 15th career assist in the MLS Cup Playoffs. The 34-year-old had previously been tied with Cienfuegos before from a year-and-a-half-long retirement.
Donovan's assist came in the 14th minute when he delivered a cross that Giovani dos Santos nodded to Alan Gordon for an easy tap-in goal.
