Lineup notes

  • Saturday's preseason match against San Jose Earthquakes will mark Curt Onalfo’s second match as head coach of the LA Galaxy, and first against an MLS opponent
  • During his time as Head Coach of LA Galaxy II in USL, Onalfo led the Galaxy to three-consecutive postseason berths (2014, 2015, 2016) while winning the USL Western Conference in 2015
  • During his 86 games over three seasons with LA Galaxy II, Los Dos scored 145 goals and earned +34 goal differential
  • Onalfo will trot out a lineup that accommodates the absence of a trio of key players due to injury, international absence and travel as Gyasi Zardes (knee), Robbie Rogers (ankle), Romain Alessandrini (visa)
  • Midfielder Giovani dos Santos returns to the starting xi fold following a successful showing with the Mexico National team where he tallied an assist in his side's 1-0 win over Iceland on Thursday
  • Midfielder João Pedro returned to the Galaxy after missing the club's match against Club Tijuana while he was acquiring his vis
  • Defender Hugo Arellano is also available off the bench after missing last weekend's friendly due to international duty
  • What happens at an #LAGalaxy match in Vegas, stays in Vegas
