CARSON, Calif. – Romain Alessandrini left head coach Curt Onalfo impressed following his first action of the preseason for the LA Galaxy.
Alessandrini went 30 minutes in the Galaxy’s 1-0 preseason victory over Real Salt Lake on Tuesday. The 27-year-old was industrious throughout as he started his shift on the left side of midfield before switching to the right side during the final 15 minutes.
After just his second day in training with the Galaxy, Onalfo had high marks for the Frenchman.
“Very good. You could see that he’s another attacking option," Onalfo told LA Galaxy Insider. "He looks to get in behind, and he can play. It’s going to take some time for him to get the timing and the understanding of everyone on the field, but the initial signs are very good.”
