LA Galaxy eager to return to StubHub Center after struggling on the road

CARSON, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy aren't hitting the panic button after starting the 2015 season with a 1-2-2 record, but they admit that they're ready to return home after two straight defeats away from StubHub Center.

Last Saturday's defeat to Vancouver Whitecaps FC extended LA's winless run away from StubHub Center to nine games. However for all their struggles away from home, StubHub Center has been a bastion of success for the Galaxy, with the team riding an impressive 21-game unbeaten run.

Now that the Galaxy are back at StubHub Center for their next two matches, they're confident that they can turn their season around.

"We’re at home and we know what we can do there. If we’re not going to get any points on the road then we need to win every single game at home," A.J. DeLaGarza said after LA's defeat in Vancouver last week. We have to start with Seattle and then Kansas City the week after. These are as big a games as you can have this early into the year."

Juninho, the hero who helped the Galaxy advanced past the Sounders in last year's postseason, agreed.

"Against Seattle is a perfect time to get back on track," Juninho said. "It's the biggest rivalry in the league right now and they have very good players so we'll have to do our best."
