LA Galaxy expect to have João Pedro and Romain Alessandrini in training camp later this month | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy will have Romain Alessandrini and João Pedro with the squad for preseason later this month according to head coach Curt Onalfo.

Both players are currently in their respective nations as they wait to receive their P-1 Visas which will officially allow the two players to join the Galaxy for training camp. Onalfo told LA Galaxy Insider last week that both signings will be in camp within two weeks.

“It’s all a process. Joao had an appointment [last Thursday]. It’s all about how quickly does he get his passport stamped and then you have to get him on a plane. With Alessandrini, that process just started. The whole process can take 10 days and two weeks. We’re not in control of that. I can’t worry about it until I get everyone in. The important thing is that they’re signed. Shouldn’t be too much longer.”

If Alessandrini and Pedro join up with the team within the next two weeks, it may allow both an opportunity to participate in the team’s preseason training camp in Santa Barbara from Feb. 15 to Feb. 18.
