LA Galaxy II signed defender Isaac Bawa on January 31, 2020.
Last year with LA Galaxy II, Bawa appeared in 12 games with 10 starts in the USL Championship.
In 2018 and 2019, Bawa played for FC Golden State Force in USL 2 while representing Azusa Pacific University in 2018 and 2019. With FC Golden State, Bawa made six appearances during the USL Regular Season in addition to three more appearances in postseason play.
During his time with Azusa Pacific, Bawa was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-American first team (2019) and second team (2018) and D2CCA All-American first team (2019) and third team (2018) while being named the PacWest Player of the Year (2019), PacWest Freshman and PacWest Defender of the Year (2018).
In 2019, Bawa, anchored the Cougar defense all season, which allowed no more than one goal in 16 of Azusa Pacific's 19 matches, including eight shutouts. Last year, he started 19 games and led the team with 1,736 minutes played.
