CARSON, Calif. – The U.S. National Team’s January camp is where dreams of national team glory begin.

Amid the double training days and fitness tests, players are challenged to the limit as they look to prove to U.S. National Team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann that they are worthy of a regular spot on the squad.

Such is the challenge before LA Galaxy second-year players Oscar Sorto and Gyasi Zardes as they look to carve out a place in Klinsmann’s team ahead of their two friendlies against Chile on Jan. 28 in South America and against Panama on Feb. 8 at StubHub Center.

As Sorto, Zardes and the rest of the U.S. continue their preparations for the Chile match, LAGalaxy.com photographer Hana Asano snapped photos of the two Galaxy youngsters in their first camp with the national team.
