CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy are on the rise in the latest MLS Power Rankings after yet another victory.

Curt Onalfo’s squad earned their third victory in a row on Saturday when they defeated the San Jose Earthquakes, 4-2 at Avaya Stadium. Los Angeles are unbeaten in five matches after a slow start to the season.

"The stars are shining again at the Galaxy! LA embraced their heel-turn big-time with a win in San Jose, and fueled by that – as well as an in-form Gio dos Santos – they’re looking dangerous again."

SI.com: 10th (+7)

"The Galaxy fell behind early against old rivals San Jose, but Curt Onalfo’s team kept on fighting and earned a 4–2 win away from home. Give Onalfo credit; after coming in for a lot of criticism early this season the manager has his team playing well at the moment, as the Galaxy are currently riding three straight wins as part of a five-game unbeaten run. The uptick in form from Giovani Dos Santos has a lot to do with that, but so does more cohesive play from the rest of the group."

ESPN FC: 13th (+4)

"Curt Onalfo deserves heaps of credit for what is happening in Los Angeles. Or rather what is happening away from Los Angeles, with the Galaxy on a three-game road winning streak topped by a 4-2 victory at San Jose."
