Goals, goals and more goals!
Today is the last day to vote for the LA Galaxy’s Goal of the Month competition presented by 76 Gas for the month of May.
Two of Giovani dos Santos’ five goals in the month of May earned nominations for the honor, while Romain Alessandrini, João Pedro, and LA Galaxy II’s Justin Dhillon will also be up for selection.
Dave Romney and LA Galaxy Academy’s Efrain Alvarez won the competition for the month of March and May respectively.

Romain Alessandrini vs. New York Red Bulls (5/14/17)
Romain Alessandrini has developed a penchant for scoring on the road, and he notched another sublime goal in the team’s victory over the Red Bulls. The Frenchman scored the first of the Galaxy’s three on the evening with a curling free kick from the right side that went through the New York defense and past goalkeeper Luis Robles.
Justin Dhillon vs. New York Red Bulls II (5/14/17)
Justin Dhillon provided the game-winner to help cap LA Galaxy II’s dramatic comeback win over New York Red Bulls II. Jonathan Hernandez supplied the service with a lovely ball over the top to Dhillon who stuck out his left foot and placed the ball into the bottom corner.
Giovani dos Santos vs. Minnesota United (5/21/17)
Giovani dos Santos and Romain Alessandrini simply create goals together, and the first such tally came during Los Angeles’ big win over Minnesota United. The goal was a masterpiece as dos Santos found the Frenchman on the streaking up the right flank. Alessandrini then scooped up the ball with his left foot to find the Mexican striker who scored with an acrobatic touch with the outside of his left foot.
João Pedro vs. San Jose Earthquakes (5/27/17)
The LA Galaxy’s Portuguese midfielder notched his first goal for the club in a timely fashion to help his team earn a vital three points on the road from the San Jose Earthquakes. A precision pass from Jelle Van Damme and some even fancier footwork from Ashley Cole set up the Portuguese midfielder who lashed a close-range tally to open his account.
Giovani dos Santos vs. San Jose Earthquakes (5/27/17)
The partnership of Giovani dos Santos and Romain Alessandrini produced another beauty to deliver Los Angeles’ fourth goal against the Earthquakes. Alessandrini set up the play with a perfectly placed pass to dos Santos who beat San Jose’s David Bingham with a diving header.
