The LA Galaxy advise fans to arrive early to StubHub Center for tonight’s contest against New York City FC, presented by Alcatel. Fans who don’t arrive to StubHub Center by 7 p.m. PT will risk missing the 8 p.m. PT kickoff, which can be seen live on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes. A limited number of tickets to tonight’s match are available on www.lagalaxy.com/tickets.
The first 10,000 fans to enter StubHub Center on Saturday will receive a free LA Galaxy Emoji beach towel, courtesy of Alcatel.
StubHub Center parking gates A and D will open today at 12 p.m. PT, with all remaining parking gates set to open at 5 p.m. PT. All StubHub Center regular stadium gates will open at 6:30 p.m. PT, allowing fans entry into the stadium an hour and a half before the match kicks off. #GALAXYSOCIAL NIGHT
On Saturday, the Galaxy will host #GalaxySocial Night to celebrate the vibrant online community that has grown around the Galaxy, their fans and their players on social media.
Pregame, Galaxy players will warm up in custom jerseys that feature the players’ social handles. The custom jerseys worn during the team’s warm ups will be signed by each player and available to fans via auction, with all proceeds benefitting the LA Galaxy Foundation. Fans can bid for their chance to win by texting GALAXY to 52182 or by visiting www.galaxy.gesture.com.
During the match, the Galaxy will also have numerous in-stadium activations, including a photo booth where fans can create custom Galaxy gifs.
PITCH & PALE CONCERT
StubHub Center SE Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. PT to allow fans to access the Pitch & Pale area during pre-game, which will feature a free concert from legendary pop-rock powerhouse Will Makar for all fans in attendance. The Pitch & Pale area is located on the southeast area of the StubHub Center concourse.
BAG POLICY
The LA Galaxy and StubHub Center will continue to enforce the new bag policy during Saturday night’s contest. Prohibited items into StubHub Center include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size. TRANSPORTATION
To alleviate parking gates, LA Galaxy encourage fans to utilize Galaxy Express, a non-stop shuttle service bringing fans to StubHub Center from Harbor Gateway Transit Center and Del Amo Station. The Galaxy Express will allow patrons the chance to make their way to StubHub Center from anywhere in Los Angeles using LA Metro. Galaxy Express operates approximately every 10 minutes, beginning 90 minutes prior to kickoff and running through the match’s 15th minute. Return trips operate from the 75th minute through 45 minutes after the whistle. Addresses of the two Galaxy Express pickup locations are below.
