CARSON, Calif. – Voting has begun for the LA Galaxy’s Goal of the Month presented by 76 Gas for the month of September.
Goals by Romain Alessandrini, Bradford Jamieson IV, Gyasi Zardes, Ari Lassiter, and LA Galaxy II striker Ethan Zubak have been nominated.
The winner will join Efra Alvarez, Giovani dos Santos, Dave Romney, Justin Dhillon, Jonathan Estrada, and Special Olympics Unified athlete Logan Jones as winners of the competition.

ROMAIN ALESSANDRINI vs. SPORTING KC
Romain Alessandrini has set MLS alight during his first season with the LA Galaxy, but his free kick finish against Sporting on Sept. 24 may have been his finest goal yet. The Frenchman scored the Galaxy’s lone tally in their 1-1 draw in Kansas City with a curling left-footed effort past Sporting’s Tim Melia.
ETHAN ZUBAK vs. SACRAMENTO REPUBLIC
Ethan Zubak’s goal in LA Galaxy II’s 2-1 defeat to Sacramento Republic on Sept. 16 was one for the record books. The LA Galaxy Academy product etched his name in USL lore by opened the scoring just 11 seconds into the match, tallying the fastest goal in USL history.
BRADFORD JAMIESON IV vs. HOUSTON DYNAMO
The LA Galaxy’s season has been a tumultuous one, but Bradford Jamieson IV’s late season rise is becoming one of the bright spots in a dim year. Jamieson began his recent scoring tear with a confident finish off the dish from Giovani dos Santos in the Galaxy’s 3-3 draw with the Houston Dynamo on Sept. 27.
ARI LASSITER vs. RIO GRANDE VALLEY FC
The Goal Puppy took a big bite out of the Rio Grande Valley defense with a powerful strike in LA Galaxy II’s 1-0 win over Rio Grande Valley FC on Sept. 3. Ari Lassiter’s finish came in the 21th minute when he launched a blast from beyond 20 yards that sailed into the back of the net.
GYASI ZARDES vs. COLORADO RAPIDS
Gyasi Zardes notched his first goal of the season with a close range in the LA Galaxy’s 3-0 win over the Colorado Rapids on Sept. 2. The goal was vintage Zardes as he extended his right foot to send a Romain Alessandrini cross into the goal.
