CARSON, Calif. – Ema Boateng’s tasty finish against Portland Timbers on August 6 has been nominated for the 2017 LA Galaxy Goal of Year award presented by AARP.
The play began when Joao Pedro’s silky through-ball sliced the Portland defense, finding an open Boateng who carefully placed his left-footed shot into the back of the Timbers’ net.
