LOS ANGELES (Monday, Aug. 6, 2018) – The LA Galaxy (10-8-5, 35 points) are back at home to take on Minnesota United FC (9-13-1, 28 points) at 7:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, Aug. 11 at StubHub Center. The match will be broadcast live on Spectrum SportsNet and Spectrum Deportes.
All-time, the Galaxy are 2-0-0 all-time against Minnesota. Last year at StubHub Center, the Galaxy defeated MNUFC 3-0 in their 2018 home finale, with two goals from Romain Alessandrini and Jonathan dos Santos’ first goal for the LA Galaxy.
Over the weekend, the Colorado Rapids snapped the Galaxy’s nine-game unbeaten streak with a 2-1 win at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. Alessandrini scored in the match for the Galaxy – he’s scored in all three contests he’s participated in against Colorado. Alessandrini is in a stretch of good form, recording four goals and four assists in his last five matches.
Zlatan Ibrahimović will return to the Galaxy lineup this week after missing the Galaxy’s contest in Colorado.
