This season, the LA Galaxy and Dignity Health are teaming up to honor Healthcare heroes for the 2020 Galaxy season. During a pandemic and overwhelming year, Dignity Health employees have been on the front lines protecting our Los Angeles Community. The Galaxy are honored to be partnered with Dignity Health and grateful for all of our healthcare heroes.
The Hero of the Match for the Oct. 28 match away to the Portland Timbers is Pauline Wong from Northridge Hospital Medical Center.
Pauline Wong, clinical laboratory, is always two steps ahead in thinking things through and has become a resource not only at Northridge Hospital, but also for the Dignity Health health care system. Because of Pauline’s collaborative spirit, commitment to the common good, and being a real team player, NHMC was able to quickly mobilize and provide testing for six Dignity Health Southern California hospitals, manage processing and reporting for a LA County Drive Thru Testing Program, all while continuing her regular duties for the laboratory. She is a genuine “Healthcare Hero”.
