The LA Galaxy drafted forward Preston Judd from Denver University with their second round selection on Thursday.

Judd was drafted after recently signing a professional contract with Sporting Kansas City II in the USL Championship this month. Any player on the eligible player list is available for selection even if currently playing in a domestic professional league. If they are on the SuperDraft list of players eligible for selection, and a team picks them, their MLS rights go to the MLS club. The MLS club then has the opportunity to potentially negotiate a contract.

The forward played one season at the University of Denver, where, he led the team with seven goals and one assist in 19 appearances, while earning 2019 Summit League All-Newcomer Team and 2019 Summit League Tournament MVP honors. Prior to his time at Denver, he spent the first two seasons of his collegiate career with California Baptist University, recording 22 goals and four assists in 39 games

The LA Galaxy did not make a selection with their third round pick.
