LOS ANGELES (Monday, April 17, 2023) – LA Galaxy II forward Aaron Bibout was named the MLS NEXT Pro Player of Matchday 4 after tallying a hat-trick and the game-winning goal in Los Dos’ 4-3 win on the road over Whitecaps FC 2 on April 16.
Bibout, 18, recorded his first professional goal in the second minute of the match against Whitecaps FC 2, and ended the contest with a hat-trick. The three goals scored by Bibout was also the first hat-trick recorded by an LA Galaxy II player in MLS NEXT Pro history. Notably, the Yaoundé, Cameroon, native leads MLS NEXT Pro in shots taken (27) and shots on target (10), while ranking tied for fourth in the league in goals scored (3).
