LOS ANGELES (Sunday, July 16, 2023) – Playing in their ninth home match of the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro campaign, LA Galaxy II earned a 1-1 draw in regulation and defeated the Tacoma Defiance 4-3 in a penalty-kick shootout at Dignity Health Sports Park’s Track & Field Stadium on Sunday night. Jonathan Pérez recorded his first goal of the season as LA extended its unbeaten run to four matches dating back to June 29.

TAC – Dylan Teves (Raul Miglietti), 55th minute: Dylan Teves received the ball just on the edge of the 18-yard box and dribbled towards goal, placing his shot just inside the bottom right corner of the goal.
