CARSON, Calif. (Monday, May 2, 2016) – The LA Galaxy II schedule gets busy again as Los Dos prepare for two home matches this week. They’ll first play Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC at 7:30 p.m. PT on Wednesday, May 4 at the newly renovated StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium.

After that, it will be a quick turnaround for Los Dos; they’ll play again on Saturday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m. PT against California rival Sacramento Republic FC at StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium.

Galaxy II have already seen Colorado this year, although not in the regular season. Los Dos defeated the Switchbacks in a 4-2 preseason exhibition at StubHub Center on March 19. Colorado will probably remember Jack McBean.
As for Sacramento, Galaxy II have forged quite the history with the Northern California rival in just two years of USL participation. Galaxy II defeated Sacramento in the first round of the USL Playoffs in 2015 after they were knocked out by Sacramento in the 2014 playoffs. But in regular season matchups, Sacramento holds a firm 5-1-2 series edge. Los Dos has never won at home against Sacramento.
Through Week 6, Galaxy II leads the USL Western Conference with 13 points and a 3-0-4 record. They are one of only two unbeaten teams in the league. Captain and forward Jack McBean leads the team in scoring with 6 goals; he’s the league’s second leading scorer.
Over the weekend, Los Dos traveled to Edinburg, Texas to take on Rio Grande Valley FC in the team’s second road game of the season. The team earned a 2-0 victory behind goals from Ariel Lassiter and Jack McBean while also breaking a four-game draw streak.
