LA Galaxy II train at StubHub Center in preparation for match against Arizona United SC on Saturday | Weekly Schedule

CARSON, Calif. (Monday, May 23, 2016) – LA Galaxy II (4-2-5, 17 points) have a week of training to prepare for a rematch against Arizona United SC (2-4-3, 9 points). The two sides will kick off at 7:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, May 28 at StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium. They first faced each other in the 2016 season opener, when two goals from Ariel Lassiter gave LA their first three points of the season.

LA Galaxy II will host a Memorial Day BBQ tailgate and LA Galaxy viewing party on Saturday, May 28 prior to Los Dos’ 7:30 p.m. PT kickoff against Arizona United SC. Ahead of the LA Galaxy II match, fans will be able to join fellow Galaxy supporters to watch LA take on the Montreal Impact at 5:00 p.m. PT via a custom Build-A-Bar with TV screens and BBQ available for purchase by My Father’s BBQ. Tickets to the tailgate are just $10 and include a ticket to Galaxy II’s evening match against Arizona United SC, where in-stadium fare will include $2 beer and $2 tacos.

Over the weekend, LA Galaxy II drew 1-1 with Seattle Sounders FC 2 (1-5-4, 7 points) on Sunday night at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila, Wash. Los  Dos played 65 minutes of the match with 10 men after Alejandro Covarrubias was sent off with a second yellow card in the 26^th minute. Los Dos were down 1-0 at halftime, but an 81^st minute equalizer by Dave Romney put things level. Diop saved the result with an incredible save in the 94^th minute, helping Los Dos secure the point.

Los Dos now sit third in USL Western Conference standings behind Colorado Springs Switchbacks (18 points) and Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 (17 points). Their 21 goals in league play lead the USL.
Last week, Los Dos announced the signing of 18-year-old forward Ethan Zubak from LA Galaxy Academy. Zubak, a native of Corona, Calif., joined the Academy in 2013 and appeared in eight matches for Los Dos before signing his first professional contract.
During the 2016 USL season, Zubak has made seven appearances for Galaxy II and scored his first goal for the club on April 2 against Real Monarchs SLC. He made his Los Dos debut during an August 2015 match against Arizona United SC.
