CARSON, Calif. (Monday, July 18, 2016) – LA Galaxy II (8-2-8, 32 points) will play the second of a three-game road stretch when they travel to face San Antonio FC at 5:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, July 23 at Toyota Field.
After two weeks of rest, Los Dos traveled to Portland over the weekend where they handily defeated Timbers 2 4-1 behind goals from Lee Nishanian, Bryam Rebellon, Raul Mendiola and Jack McBean. It was Galaxy II's third straight win. It also extended the team's unbeaten streak to eight, tied for their longest such streak this season.
With the win, Los Dos moved back to the top of the USL Western Conference table, tied with Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 at 32 points. In third place, Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC have collected 30 points while playing one less game.
