It’s been over a month since Los Dos have played in front of its home crowd – their last game at StubHub Center came on July 2 in a 2-1 victory over OC Blues FC. Los Dos faced Timbers 2 in the three-game road stretch that followed and handily defeated the home side 4-1 on July 16 in Portland. Bryam Rebellon, Raul Mendiola, Lee Nishanian and Jack McBean all scored in the match.

July, a month in which LA Galaxy II went 3-1-0, put Los Dos back in a dead race for the Western Conference’s top spot. Ahead of Saturday’s game they sit in 2nd place, just one point behind Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 (10-5-6, 36 points).

The season has been a much different one for T2, who have failed to pick up a win since their last victory on June 4. They’re winless in their last eight games, losing five times. T2 is 1-6-1 on the road in 2016 and their sole road win was a 0-2 victory over Tulsa Roughnecks FC on April 23.
