CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy released their 11 protected players ahead of Tuesday’s MLS Expansion Draft.
The league will hold the 2016 Expansion Draft on Tuesday which will allow expansion sides Minnesota United FC and Atlanta FC to select 11 players apiece from a list made up of players from the league’s 20 other teams.
The Galaxy’s protected list is as follows: Ema Boateng, Ashley Cole, AJ DeLaGarza, Clement Diop, Giovani dos Santos, Sebastian Lletget, Robbie Rogers, Brian Rowe, Daniel Steres, Jelle Van Damme, and Gyasi Zardes. Also automatically protected are Galaxy Homegrown players Bradford Jamieson IV,Jack McBean, Raul Mendiola, Oscar Sorto, and Jose Villarreal.

Miguel Aguilar, Leonardo, Rafael Garcia, Landon Donovan, Steven Gerrard, Alan Gordon, Baggio Husidic, Robbie Keane, Dan Kennedy, Jeff Larentowicz, Ariel Lassiter, Mike Magee, Dave Romney.
