The LA Galaxy Academy wrapped up their second match of the Generation adidas Cup Finals on Sunday against Flamengo. The Galaxy Academy lost the match 3-1 with the lone goal coming off the foot of Johnathan Estrada.
The LA Galaxy Academy now sit in third place in Group B. With one match to go, the Academy still has a chance to win the group. With a win in their final match and a Flamengo loss, the LA Galaxy would lead the group with 6 points combined points.
On Tuesday, the U-16s will take on Eintracht Frankfurt. That match will take place on April 11 at 12:30 p.m. PT. Eintracht Frankfurt defeated Sporting Kansas City in their last match by a score of 1-0. Their first match of group play was against the Galaxy's last opponent, Flamengo. The match ended in PKs where Flamengo escaped with the win.
