LOS ANGELES --- The LA Galaxy faithful showed their appreciation for new signing Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez at Saturday's Victoria Block Party, and now the Mexican striker is eager to repay their support by leading his side to another title. 


Thousands of Galaxy supporters flocked to Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday to get their first glance at Hernandez, the 2020 LA Galaxy squad, and the new safe-standing section: the Victoria Block.

The 31-year-old was unable to participate in full training due to visa issues, which he hopes will be resolved quickly and allow him to participate in preseason training fully but drew wild cheers from the Galaxy faithful.

"We're looking to bring [Galaxy fans] a lot of happiness and another trophy, that's the main thing," Hernandez said. "We're all hoping that we'll be back at [DHSP] next year at this time, celebrating one more star on our crest."
