After a 3-3 exhibition draw with UCLA last Saturday, Galaxy II added another victory to the preseason win column with a 6-0 defeat of UC Riverside and a 5-0-1 record.
22 players featured for Los Dos in Wednesday morning’s game including first-teamers Baggio Husidic and Bradford Jamieson IV. Galaxy II scored five goals in the first half: Kevin Negrete (9’), Ethan Zubak (21’ and 42’), Lee Nishanian (40’), and Adrian Vera (45’). Jack McBean, continuing his run of impressive preseason form, added a goal at 80’ to complete the rout.
The exhibitions aren’t over for Galaxy II this week; Los Dos will face both Cal State University Northridge at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Albion SC Pros at 10 a.m. on Sunday. All games will be held at StubHub Center Field 6.
