Jack McInerney could make LA Galaxy debut vs. Philadelphia Union | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif. – Jack McInerney could be in line to make his LA Galaxy debut on Saturday against the Philadelphia Union.

McInerney, who was signed by the club last week, missed out on the team’s match with Seattle Sounders FC as he sought to return to full fitness after a long layoff. The 24-year-old has been participating in full training since joining the club and may make his first appearance on Saturday against his old club per head coach Curt Onalfo.

“He’s looking sharper each day,” Onalfo said. “He’s positioning himself very well to be a part of our team on Saturday.”

McInerney has one goal in three games against the team that he spent the first four-and-a-half years of his professional career.
