CARSON, Calif. – Bruce Arena announced his 27-man roster for the United States’ upcoming three-game stint that includes two crucial World Cup qualifying matches on Sunday.

Former Galaxy center back Omar Gonzalez and ex-Academy player Paul Arriola highlight the roster that will see the USMNT play three games in June. Galaxy and USMNT regulars Jermaine Jones and Gyasi Zardes were not included in the squad.

The United States open their slate at Rio Tinto Stadium where they’ll host Venezuela on June before taking on Trinidad and Tobago at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park five days later in the first of two 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches. Arena’s squad will then travel to Mexico City where they’ll face Giovani dos Santos and El Tri at Estadio Azteca on June 11.

The USMNT sit fourth in the Hexagonal with a 1-2-1 record over four matches. The top three teams qualify directly for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, while the fourth-place team will take part in a playoff with the fifth place team from Asia for a position in the tournament.
