The LA Galaxy Academy will take on Seattle Sounders Academy in the semifinals of the U-17/18 USSDA Playoffs on Friday, July 14 at StubHub Center Field #1 (8 p.m. PT, streamed live on ussoccerda.com).
The Galaxy advanced to the Final Four after defeating Real Salt Lake Academy in penalties in their U.S. Soccer Development Academy Knockout Round match on Friday, July 7 at Grande Sports World to advance to the Final Four. Efrain Alvarez scored the Galaxy’s lone goal in a 1-1 draw that saw the two side go into extra time before deciding the game’s winner in a penalty shootout.
The winner of Friday’s match will then take on Texans SC Houston or Colorado Rapids Academy in the championship match on Sunday at StubHub Center.
The match will be a non-ticketed event, and parking at StubHub Center is free.
