LOS ANGELES (Monday, Aug. 20, 2018) – The LA Galaxy will host LAFC on Friday, Aug. 24 at 7:30 p.m. PT in front of a sold-out crowd at StubHub Center. The LA Galaxy and StubHub Center announced today comprehensive programming information for LA Galaxy-LAFC match, presented by El Super.
StubHub Center VIP gates and LA Galaxy Season Ticket Member gates will open at 5:15 p.m. PT, with all stadium gates opening at 5:30 p.m. PT, a full two hours before kickoff. Several fan events, programming, and activities, which are listed below, will be available to fans beginning at 5:30 p.m. PT. StubHub Center Parking Gates A & D open at 11 a.m. PT and all other parking gates will open at 5 p.m. PT. Parking Gate D is available to those with passes only.
Fans driving to StubHub Center and arriving later than 6:30 p.m. PT may risk missing kickoff between the two sides. Several means of alternate transportation and parking are available and outlined below.
PREGAME FESTIVITIES
Fans are encouraged to arrive early ahead of the LA Galaxy's match against LAFC, with several pre-game festivities taking place in advance of kickoff following when gates open at 5:30 p.m. PT.
- SoccerFest
Fans can enter StubHub Center to enjoy SoccerFest on the South concourse of the stadium beginning at 5:30 p.m. PT. SoccerFest features numerous activities, games and food and drink options, in addition, to live music from DJ Los. Fans can also stop by the LA Galaxy Star Squad booth for free gear and other opportunities to win team merchandise.
Food options on the concourse at SoccerFest include Beachside Kitchen, Rock N Brews, Chancho’sTacos, The Deli Counter, Darrow’s New Orleans Grill, Sumo Dog, CJ’s Wings and Continental Empanadas.
- Will Makar Concert:
California pop singer Will Makar will give a free concert to LA Galaxy fans in the Pitch & Pale area during pre-game.
- Kona Bar
Fans can arrive to StubHub Center and enjoy the new Kona Bar at SoccerFest, with specialized drinks available at the bar.
- Tailgating at StubHub Center
Tailgating is allowed in StubHub Center Lots 10, 11, 12 and 13, which open at 11:00 a.m. PT. When entering the parking lot, it is important to follow directions from parking personnel. Please note that there are no “in and out” privileges for vehicles. - Anthem singer
Powerhouse singer/ songwriter, Jordan Smith will sing the national anthem on Friday for the LA Galaxy’s match against LAFC. Smith has just released his sophomore album ONLY LOVE via Republic/ UMG. A native of Harlan, KY and the winner of The Voice Season Nine, Smith is the biggest selling artist from the show and continues to wow audiences across the country with his incredible vocals.
GALAXY EXPRESS
To alleviate traffic and congestion at the gates, LA Galaxy encourage fans to utilize Galaxy Express, powered by Long Beach Transit, a free non-stop shuttle service bringing fans to StubHub Center from Harbor Gateway Transit Center and Del Amo Station. The Galaxy Express will allow patrons to make their way to StubHub Center from anywhere in Los Angeles using LA Metro.
For Friday’s game, Galaxy Express will begin running at 5 p.m. PT, operating approximately every 10 minutes and running through the match’s 15th minute. Return trips operate from the 75th minute through 45 minutes after the whistle. The first 200 riders on Galaxy Express will receive an exclusive Galaxy scarf.

The LA Galaxy and StubHub Center also provide dedicated drop off areas for Uber, which fans are encouraged to take to any match at StubHub Center. Fans can use the designated Uber pick up/drop off zone located at Gate A off of Avalon Blvd.
FLASH SEATS
The LA Galaxy and StubHub Center encourage fans to use Flash Seats, the ID-based ticketing technology which provides fans the flexibility and convenience to securely manage your tickets online or in the mobile app all for free. Through Flash Seats, fans can access tickets from anywhere, using the LA Galaxy mobile app to ensure quick and easy entry into StubHub Center. Entry is granted through the mobile app, swiping a registered credit card or a valid driver's license at the gates.
Flash Seats can also be used for parking passes. All fans using Flash Seats for parking must enter through StubHub Center Gates A, B or D and use their QR code.

PARKING
Fans now have various options for parking at StubHub Center, including $10 and $20 options on LA Galaxy gamedays. The variety of parking options will enhance efficiency for fans attending the game.
Parking options:
- $10: To park in StubHub Center $10 lots on Galaxy gamedays, fans can enter Gates G or H off of Central Ave.
- $20: General Admission parking is $20. Please enter via Parking Gates B, E, or I.
Note: Fans who use Flash Seats for parking at StubHub Center must enter Parking Gates A, B or D. The LA Galaxy app must be downloaded prior to arrival.

CLEAR BAG POLICY
StubHub Center’s Clear Bag Policy remains in effect for all LA Galaxy home games. StubHub Center and the LA Galaxy advise fans not to bring bags of any kind to the stadium for events. Bags that adhere to the below standards will be permitted to enter StubHub Center:
- Bags that are clear plastic or clear vinyl and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (ziplock bag or similar)
- Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bags
Prohibited items into StubHub Center include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags, camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.
