LOS ANGELES – There is only one week remaining to register for the 18th Annual Copa LA, presented by Chevrolet, at the AB Brown Soccer Complex in Riverside, Calif. Teams interested in registering for the competition have until May 8.
The prestigious grassroots LA Galaxy youth tournament returns after its biggest year, with over 230 teams competing in the tournament in 2018.

“Copa LA was a very good experience for our club because the atmosphere was very good and positive,” said Team USA Head Coach Juan Vallin. “The competition was better than expected and the presentation of trophies to the winning teams was beautiful and unique.”
The tournament, open for any youth team to participate, will be hosted on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26 and is open to Boys & Girls 2001-2012 teams. Teams from Northern California, Southern California, Arizona, Nevada and Mexico are already registered for this year’s tournament.
Included for all teams in the tournament is a three-game guarantee with certified referees on the professionally maintained fields at AB Brown Soccer Complex. Team trophies and individual medals will be provided to finalists and champions for all age divisions, with tickets to a 2019 LA Galaxy home match also being awarded to finalists and champions.
“Copa LA is a very pleasant experience for any team participating. The tournament is full of surprises, prizes and a lot of motivation for each of the players as well as us coaches,” said Team Bulldogs Tijuana Head Coach Francisco Gamboa. “The tournament level is great and provides an excellent family atmosphere. We have to thank the organizing staff for giving us the best experience and letting us enjoy this beautiful sports complex. We have participated in two tournaments and will be back soon, looking for a championship and more.”
LA Galaxy players are scheduled for appearances across the weekend. The deadline for registration is Sunday, April 21. A registration pricing guide is below.
